A worker-owned design, build, and maintenance cooperative

MENTALITY
We don't just design for aesthetics, we design for function, form, space, and in three dimensions. We consider the way you will use your space, what feelings your space will evoke, and how your space will integrate into the broader environment. Choosing the right materials, planning ahead for longevity, and incorporating best practices before we break ground are all factors beyond the look of the garden.

COLLABORATION

Design is inherently a collaborative process, one that brings in all stakeholders to unify a vision. While we offer design services, we also enjoy installing the work of other designers in the area. By collaborating with the best designers in the Northwest, we can broaden the possibilities beyond our individual styles. We acknowledge that other designers may have a style you prefer, and we will happily work with other designers to ensure your project is a success when it comes time to install it.

PROCESS

We want our process to be completely transparent at every stage. It's complex to do it right, and to be environmentally sound when planning a landscape. The Pacific Northwest has numerous environmentally critical areas, known as ECA's, and every job we do must take these into consideration. We don't cut corners, and we don't take risks that could endanger your site or your neighbor's.

Here are the steps in our design process. For the do-it-yourselfer, we also offer coaching services to help you do it right.
